Production Graphics
August-December 2022
Purpose:
GIT (Graphics In Technology) department is rebranding to School of Technology and Workforce Learning. The department asked a group in the Production Graphics course to create a proposal for the rebranding.
Audience:
For current and new students to better identify the graphics department at Pittsburg State University.
Software:
Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Canva.
Technical Skills:
Designing, creating mock-ups, identity searching, communication with department heads, and gathering information from university staff.

These designs were inspired by the old design of GIT. Our team wanted to make something new out of the old design. The logos are supposed to feel nostalgic but polished.
These logos are also supposed to be united with each other while having something different. Each logo has 2 different colors and an icon that differentiates each department.
Presentation:
For this project, we had to create a presentation for the head departments of GIT.
This presentation was created by Kyle Carr.
Mockups:
Black Polo Shirts
These black polo shirts would be for professors and staff for their specific department. Each polo design would have a embroidered left crest.

Circular Signs
For way finding, students could identify departments by these circular signs. The signs would be propped out so that students could see the signs from a long distance.

Adding a multiple kiosks in the Kansas Technology Center would help new students know where each department is. Not only that but would tell them where they currently are and how to get to their destination.
